Noah Kay

Born into a family of classical musicians in New York, NY, Noah began playing oboe at age 15. He received his Bachelor of Music degree at the Eastman School of Music in 2016, having studied with Richard Killmer, and is currently pursuing his Master’s at the Yale School of Music under Stephen Taylor. Noah joined the Colorado Springs Philharmonic as principal oboe in the fall of 2017. Summer music festival appearances include the National Repertory Orchestra, Sarasota Music Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Vermont Mozart Festival, Domaine Forget, and Cape May Music Festival as part of the New York Chamber Ensemble. Noah recently played and recorded Mendelssohn’s first and second piano concertos under the Deutsche Grammophon label with the NYC-based Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
